As part of its commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development, Al Mashreq Insurance Company has launched and implemented a series of pioneering initiatives during the month of Ramadan and Women's Month. These initiatives aim to support the community and create a positive impact on society.
In line with its strategy, the company launched the "Mashriqa" program, a special initiative aimed at protecting women's entrepreneurial projects from potential risks. The program includes providing tailored insurance policies for these small and medium-sized enterprises, contributing to their sustainability and success.
In addition, the company, in cooperation with the Businesswomen Forum, visited various women-led entrepreneurial projects and distributed the “Mushreqa” policy for free. This cooperation aims to highlight the pioneering work of female entrepreneurs and provide support to projects facing marketing challenges.
Mr. Ayoub Zurub, the CEO of Al Mashreq Insurance, expressed pride in the series of initiatives launched by the company, saying: "We are proud to contribute to sustainable development through our community initiatives. We believe in the importance of the role of women and youth in building a better future for everyone. We have previously supported several sustainable projects and contributed to the economic empowerment of women."
General Manager Mr. Nihad Assad added: "Our initiatives reflect our commitment to providing support and protection for women's entrepreneurial projects. This step enhances the role of women in the business sector, encourages the development of their projects, and improves the living standards of their families."
Ms. Renad Mousleh, Executive Director of the Businesswomen Forum, said: "We thank Al Mashreq Insurance Company for this important national initiative during these times, coinciding with March, the month of Women. This initiative serves as a lever to encourage and enhance the active participation of women and female entrepreneurs, protect their private projects, and improve the living standards of their families."
Furthermore, Al Mashreq Insurance distributed food parcels to 350 needy families during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly to workers who lost their jobs due to current circumstances. The company also sponsored Iftar meals for institutions caring for orphans and the elderly.
Al Mashreq Insurance continually seeks partnerships with local community institutions and makes sustainable developmental contributions that include various segments of society. This includes supporting orphaned children, the elderly, providing scholarships to students at Palestinian universities, and supporting people with special needs.
